Cookies & browser storage

Cookies can be sent with web requests. Local storage keeps information in your browser until the site or you remove it. Next Job Desk uses browser storage for workspace persistence and sign-in. This page covers both, not only traditional cookies.

The local storage key ny-bid-desk.site.v1 keeps your local company preferences, searches, saved bids, stages, notes and review records. It has no fixed automatic expiration in the application. Clearing it removes your local work; export a backup first. Browser storage blocking may prevent work from surviving a reload.

Supabase authentication uses bid-desk.auth.v1 and related authentication-flow storage to keep a session and complete email sign-in. Session validity is controlled by authentication settings; persistent browser storage is not a promise that a session stays valid indefinitely. Sign out on shared devices. Clearing authentication storage signs this browser out but does not delete your cloud account.

The live site loads Cloudflare’s analytics beacon to measure page usage and performance. This is separate from workspace storage. See Cloudflare Web Analytics for its current description. Cloudflare may also use security or challenge cookies depending on the protections applied to a request; not every cookie in its documentation is set for every visitor. The reviewed application does not include an advertising pixel or marketing-cookie integration. There is currently no site-level analytics opt-out switch or consent-preference manager. This page is a disclosure, not a consent dialog. Adding optional tracking would require reviewing the applicable consent requirements and providing working controls before activating it.

Use your browser’s site-data settings for nextjobdesk.com to review or remove cookies and local storage. Browser tracking protection or a content blocker can control third-party requests, including the Cloudflare analytics beacon; controls vary by browser. Export local work before clearing site data.
